Nike Air cushioning has taken many forms over the last several decades. In 1991, 180 degrees of Nike Air cushioning in the heel debuted for the first time with the Tinker Hatfield-designed Air 180 runner. Several reissues later, the redesigned cult classic Air 180 returns. The redeveloped upper and 180-degree Air unit come together in an updated execution, outfitted in various colorways including the original “Ultramarine” that started it all.
